Used to indulge in self flagellation when I was younger. The secret is to start slowly and get the endorphins flowing. Eventually you reach that plateau where you surf on the top of the wave and reach that wonderful place where your body is saying 'stop' but your brain is saying 'just one more' mmmmm

That's the way it should be. I love the pain, then, as you say, you reach that plateau where pain and pleasure meet, it becomes pleasure until it stops and then the pain, slowly, returns especially when you can see the results of the punishment.

Always believed in the pain/pleasure syndrome. The torment of waiting for that first stroke and then the reward of getting it and loving every subsequent one is the best feeling.
